Quel torrente, che cade dal monte,

Tale anch'io a chi oppone la fronte,
dal mio brando atterato sarà.

CÆSAR
This torrent that falls from the mountain
sweeps away everything that stands in its way.
I shall be the same, and whoever opposes me
will be smitten down by my sword.
